La Princesa X Fieras

This is a project in collaboration with Fieras. I'll show the creative process for the fashion installation we made. My approach to this project was taking collage to a new dimension, I love objects and how the objects we love and purposefully choose to show have deep traits of our character and identity coded in them. This was all about being a preppy grilla in Medellín, things I've loved, consumed, and used as a teen girl in Medellín. And how those elements connect to the latinx queer party collectives in the city.

This is the first "model" I proposed to Fieras C.D. A dress designed by us, surrounded with posters, flowers, and little essential objects that communicate femininity but also trashiness.

The dress: These are some digital and analogical collages I made to sublimate on a pink "malla tex" fabric, the C.D. of Fieras chose the 3rd one. With characters like Virgin Mary and a Gorda de Botero.
